Behold the fruit of my loins.

This little sucker has taken me two weeks, and if all goes well, should contain all the mathematical leverage I need to lever myself out of the sticky situation I've been embroiled in.

And I am spent.

I'm not one of your 'yes men' matty, so i will tell you the truth. I'm a bit concerned about the vagueness of equation 29. 'ASSUME that, ALMOST SURELY'... this is hardly a concrete statement. If one wants to succeed as a supernerd, or even as a man, in this hurly burly world, one must FIRMLY state ones convictions, for if then opposition sees even the slightest quiver in your arm as you raise you pen, they will surely smite you!! Thus, my recommended amendments are as follows: 'WITHOUT A DOUBT, THIS MEANS'. Just send me the transcript via courier when you have made the necessary changes, trying to read things on the computer hurts my eyes. I'm a traditionalist. xo

Since when can nerds smite?

Although, I guess a nerd invented nuclear weaponry.

Hmmm - solid point.

Well ... it seems "almost surely" in order Matty!

I am "almost surely" wetting my pants with excitement at the same.

I had my med assessment this morning. They took an awful lot of blood. I pretended that i was in a far off gaol being tortured and I had to be almightily brave and not pass out. It worked! I do indeed have a twisted head sometimes. They also made me do stretches in the nude – or at least, they didn’t stop me.

I still have to have more “girly” tests done. These will probably involve testing my ability to watch “Everybody loves Raymond” for more than 5 mins (shudder). It will be hell.

Yep, the term 'almost surely' amuses me no end also.

However, (tone changes to what Barry calls my lecturing voice)...

There is a clear and fascinating explanation of this term at
Almost surely
Edify yourself. Be the life of the party.

I looked up myself:
Kate
Kate can refer to:

one of the forms of the given name Catherine

Allied reporting name for the Japanese plane Nakajima B5N

Kate, a text editor for KDE

a band from Norway that performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 1987

Title of a song by Ben Folds Five

Short for Bob according to the TV sitcom, Blackadder

The last is my fave.

I am almost surely underemployed!

This one is good:

Barry
For the famous St. Bernard, see Barry (dog).
Barry (Welsh: Y Barri) is a town in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It lies on the south coast and is a popular seaside resort, with attractions including a beach, a lido and the funfairs of Barry Island.

The town was originally a fishing port, and grew when it was developed as a coal port in the 1880s. It is the administrative centre of the Vale of Glamorgan, and home to Barry Town F.C..

I am intrigued by the fun fairs of Barry Island?!

There would almost certainly be arm wrestling there.
